This interferes with the communication between your brain and the rest of your body. Ultimately, this may result in deterioration of the nerves themselves, a process which is irreversible. The National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society is the largest, most productive organization in the world taking an active lead in researching multiple sclerosis.
